Here's a little story for you, an actual blog if you will. Today I spent the afternoon stripping an old radiogram which was beyond repair but the cabinet was worth salvaging and may make a rather nice sideboard. This job was long overdue as the radiogram had been sitting hidden in the store for some time. After taking out the amplifier and turntable from the top and middle sections I then moved to the bottom to find the speakers. On one side was a rather large speaker in very good condition so I assumed the other side would have the same, it didn't, it was an empty chamber containing three crisp £5 pound notes almost as old as the radiogram itself! I reckon it was some sort of secret stash, loot money maybe or more likely someone's savings. I don't know how old the notes are exactly but the Queen does look like she'd be at home hanging with the cool kids on Redchurch...
