A bit of background information is required with this one. The Schuab Lorenz Music Center 5001 was first produced in 1965 and at that time was considered high on the audiophiles wanted list. It carried a fairly hefty price tag due to the high spec components and technology used in manufacture. It consists of a 4 band radio and 4 track tape drum on which recording can be made. The tape drum takes up half of the chassis because 126 individual tracks each 22 minutes long are ready for use. you could say it was the first true Ipod! It's very rare and very collectable especially in working order which this one is, it comes with a recent service history from a top engineer specialising in this units. An investment for sure...£1500
